This one is not for sale

This is an early Father’s Day gift for my husband. We are traveling this week to Edmonton. It is for health reasons, a specialist doctor for me. With us not being fully unpacked from moving, we don’t know where a lot of things are, one being a duffle bag for my husband to use on the trip.

So on Friday I got the gumption to “whip” one up… Easier said that done but I got there finally finishing it today. I even had  few left over bits to make him a matching shave kit.

The bag is about 20 inches wide by about 11 deep and about 13 inches high. It has foam stabilizer inside, which can be cumbersome to deal with but it makes the bag stand up nicely. I did get excited to use my KamSnap machine and punch in some rivets on the bag sides and the non-adjustable strap.

Anyway, I thought I would share it. By the way, I did make the quilt on the bed under the bag in the main photo.  I named it “Matie Jane” after my Grandma.
